We are currently in the Financing Program Development stage of this project. We are reviewing capital costs, completing a financial analysis of existing and future services, and creating a Financial Plan for the Parish.

A final Public Information Centre (PIC) is scheduled for Fall 2017. This PIC will present the Water and Wastewater Management and Servicing Strategy for St. George’s Parish. It will outline all future work recommendations that will help to move the Parish towards a more robust and reliable water and wastewater service which will allow Bermuda to be recognized as a leader in sustainability.

Public Information Centre January 18, 2017

Thank you to all of you who were able to join us on January 18, 2017 at Penno’s Wharf Terminal Building for the Public Information Centre (PIC). This was the first of two PIC’s for this project. In order for this project to be successful, the project team needs participation and input from you – the residents of St. George’s Parish.

The focus of this first PIC was to introduce the project to the residents and show them the water and wastewater management and servicing strategies that are being considered. Project team members were available at the PIC to discuss the project and answer any questions the attendees may have had.

In case you missed the PIC or would like to take another look at the information presented at the PIC, the display boards presented at the PIC can be found by clicking on the button below.

Following this PIC, the project team will review all of your feedback and incorporate it into their decision making process. The next step is to determine the most appropriate and feasible water and wastewater management and servicing strategy for St. George’s Parish. This strategy will be presented to you, the public, at our final PIC. This PIC will take place in Spring 2017 - stay tuned for more details about our final PIC!
